Health systems across Africa have inadequate policies and regulations. They lack efficiency, responsiveness and sufficient performance accountability measures. These systems are unable to make the most of the resources they have, aren’t flexible enough to meet changes in health needs and health emergencies and fail to attract greater allocations of national resources because of perceived (and often real) low performance.
With a focus on service delivery, financing, products and supply chains, data, information and technology, human resources, and leadership and governance, we leverage our expertise to address the most pressing public health challenges.
We work with partners to improve management of the overall health sector – with a strong focus on the last mile of the health system.
